I have been thinking a lot lately about life purpose and passion. My purpose is to help people be happy and enjoy life. My passion is in helping people create a home that is truly their sanctuary. The place where they are safe, at peace and where they are outrageously happy. That is why I offer coaching services to help people create that space.
As a realtor my focus is on serving the client. Whether the are buying or selling, I help them find the house that fits their lifestyle. One that they can personalize and create the place they call home.
When it comes time to sell their home, not all home owners are comfortable handing the home they have loved over to a real estate agent. There are many reasons homeowners wish to sell their home without a salesperson. Some lack confidence in a sales agent. Some can't afford or do not want to pay the high sales commission. Some want to have direct control over pricing, meeting prospective buyers, showing their home, advertising and negotiating the sale. I respect their decision to list and sell on their own.
I feel I can offer value to these home owners by offering them my coaching and consulting services. Many times home owners selling their home by themselves have questions, struggles, legal issues and concerns during the marketing and closing process. Having a realtor/coach/consultant to work with you would be great, wouldn't it!
When you call on the typical realtor for advice, they are hoping to change your mind about selling your home by yourself. They will tell you it's not a good idea. They say they can get you a higher sale price. They tell you they have connections you don't have. These points may all be true, however, if you are set on selling on your own, you have the right to do so.
